University of Massachusetts Lowell Reviews

Rating 4 out of 5
My experience at the University of Massachusetts Lowell was largely positive. The university offers a diverse range of academic programs with dedicated faculty who are committed to student success. I appreciated the hands-on learning opportunities, particularly in the engineering and science programs, which helped prepare me for the workforce. The campus itself is modern and well-maintained, with plenty of resources like libraries, labs, and study spaces.
One of the highlights for me was the vibrant campus life. The intramural sports and numerous clubs provided great opportunities to get involved, meet new people, and take a break from academics. However, I would like to see an expansion of these programs, with more options for different interests and skill levels. More promotion of these activities could also help engage students who may not be aware of what’s available. Overall, UMass Lowell offers a solid educational experience with a supportive community.

My experience at the university of UMass Lowell so far has been mostly positive and exciting as a freshman on campus. My very 1st tour of campus me and other students on tour talked to students on campus for about an hour after the tour had ended talking about life and what to expect on campus. Shortly after that I attend a 2 day overnight orientation session where me and many other students where invited to welcoming parties for the incoming freshman. A very inviting campus!

My overall experience at UMass Lowell has been fairly nice. The academics and level of education is remarkable. At UMass Lowell, they offer various internships, and they have staff and administrators who help students with their resume and interview building skills, so they may be prepared in the real world for a job opportunity. One thing I would like to see change is the campus food quality. The University has had issues in the past, and even now, where the food had given students food poison or other stomach illnesses. As a Muslim American, I can only eat halal meat, so it would be nice to see the University offer some halal food, in accordance to Islamic law.
