Runescape 3 is one of the most well-loved MMORPGs out there despite it’s dated graphics. The game is just filled with memorable characters, fun quests and stories and even a nice and supportive fan base. Runescape 3 has a loyal following and it’s keeping the game alive even at the downward trend of MMOs these days.

Ironman Friendly RS3: Creature of Fenkenstrain 2023 Quest Guide

There’s a lot of different and fun quests you can do in Runescape 3 and some of them can be quite confusing because of how many steps they require to do. One of the quests is the Creature of Frankenstrain quest and here’s how you do it.

Requirements:

• The Restless Ghost quest completed
• Priest in Peril quest completed
• 20 Crafting
• 25 Thieving
• Ghostspeak Amulet or Cramulet
• 1 Silver Bar
• 3 Bronze Wire
• 1 Needle (Not Toolbelt)
• 5 Thread
• 1 Spade (Not Toolbelt)
• Armor and Weapon
• 6 Free Inventory Slots
• Food for Healing

Quest Steps:

1. Start the quest by talking to Dr. Fenkenstrain, select Option 4 twice.

2. Go to Canifis Bar and get the Pickled Brain on the table, select Option 1 to buy it.

3. Now go back inside the castle and to the very back talk to the Gardener ghost while wearing the Ghostpeak Amulet. Select Option 2.

4. The Gardener Ghost will then follow you and you’ll need to lead the NPC to their grave which is southeast of the castle.
5. When you reach the area talk to the Gardener Ghost and they should say “This is the place where I met me’ maker.”
6. Right click on the grave and use dig to get the Decapitated Head.
7. Combine the Pickled Brain and Decapitated Head and head back to the Castle.
8. Go to the second floor via the upper left staircase and head to the room next to the staircase.

9. Interact with the bookcase there and select Option 4 “The Joy of Grave Digging” to get a marble amulet.

10. Now go to the eastern most room on the second floor and use the bookcase again, select Option 3 “Handy Maggot Avoidance Techniques” to receive an Obsidian Amulet.
11. Combine the Marble and Obsidian Amulet to make a Star Amulet.

12. Head to the southeast of the castle shown above and interact with the tombstone to the very right, use the Star Amulet on the tombstone.
13. Push the Tombstone and go down the cavern below.

14. You’ll see a lot of mobs here but what we need to defeat is the one that is pictured above, an Experiment. It will drop a Cavern Key that you’ll need.

15. Follow the Cavern’s path to the Northwest until the end where you’ll need to search the chest that has a key, then climb up the ladder.

16. You’ll see a bunch of graves, right click on them and dig all 3 to receive body parts.
17. Go back and talk to Dr. Fenkenstrain and select Option 1 to give the body parts.
18. Talk to him again to give the Needle and Threads.
19. Talk to the Gardener Ghost and select Option 2.

20. Go inside the shed at the very back of the castle and open the Cupboard to receive a Garden Brush.

21. Take from the Pile of Canes outside the shed, you’ll need 3 of them.
22. Use all 3 canes on the Garden Brush.

23. Go to the upper left staircase and go up, then to the nearest room. Use the Extended Brush on the Fireplace.

24. Head to any Furnace in the game, select the Silver Bar and then select Conductor and make one.
25. Go back to the castle and up to the second floor. Go to the southern tip of the second floor and climb up the ladder.

26. Click on the Lightning Conductor on the roof to repair it.
27. Go back and talk to Dr. Fenkenstrain.
28. Head back to the second floor and go to the northern middle room and climb up the ladder.

29. Talk to Fenkenstrain’s Monster.
30. Go back to Dr. Fenkenstrain and Pickpocket him to complete the quest!
