Get a dose of Vitamin D and an extra pep in your step with these shiny sayings.
We could all use a little more sunshine in our lives. Granted, on summer days, we might take the edge off by dipping our toes in the lake as the rays warm our skin or, perhaps, by lolling away hours in the dappled light of a backyard tree. As the weather cools, the sun only grows more lovely—lower in the sky but brighter, a tradeoff for shorter days as we await the return of spring flowers.
We can taste sunshine, too, in the warmth of a just-picked homegrown tomato or in the ice-cold refreshment of mason jar lemonade. We can see its essence in a smile and in a field of sunflowers. In literature, song, and philosophy, its meaning expands to encompass love, kindness, and the easy happiness of good times.
So, when our souls crave a little extra vitamin D, metaphorically speaking, there is plenty of light to be had, starting with these sunshine quotes. We have bookmarked these for those days when we need help seeing the light at the end of tunnel. (And for such times, you might find these inspirational quotes and verses about perseverence helpful too).
