After 10 long years, Attack on Titan has finally come to an end. Many have mixed feelings about the way it ended, and I don’t blame them. In this post, we will analyze the ending of Attack on Titan and compare it with the manga to see if there were any changes. However, if you haven’t completed the series or watched all of the anime then please be aware that there are spoilers ahead so proceed with caution. Although we will ask you to grab some tissues before we begin, you’re gonna need them
How Does Attack on Titan End?
Attack on Titan ended with a bang, and we couldn’t look away. The last chapter was nothing short of amazing, it starts with Mikasa’s destiny. They all banded together, Mikasa, Levi, and Armin. All to storm the Founding Titan in the final chapter of AOT. It felt like chaos took over as that thing turned everyone into titans. With a moment like a dream, Mikasa knew what she had to do and decapitated Eren’s head.
After that heartbreaking moment, came an equally long conversation between Armin and Eren. This conversation finally sheds light on the mysteries that loomed over Attack on Titan for so long. The ending of this masterpiece was not only fulfilling but poetic as well.
Eren always fought to give humanity freedom. He finally achieved his goal, but he had to die in the process. The series had a clear message. Power and control are two things that can corrupt humans. Even the peacefulest of places will be turned into a battle ground when these two elements are involved. This revelation made the ending that much more powerful, in a way that left us speechless. We had no choice but to say goodbye to our favorite characters for one last time.
Did Eren Die in the End of Attack on Titan?
The final moments of Attack on Titan holds some of the saddest moments ever. The question that every viewer and reader asks after Sasha’s infamous death is if Eren died in the end too. The answer to that is yes.
Many details lead up to the death of Eren. But Mikasa’s final moments with him will shatter anyone’s heart. Even when you change it to a cartoon show, any scene where someone decapitates a head and still has life in their eyes will haunt viewers for years. Seeing how these two were always together and grew in their relationship made it even more tragic when they had to say goodbye.
In the end, AOT wraps up all its loose ends and answers many things but nothing hits harder than this arc with Eren and Mikasa.
The New Beginning After the End
In the final episode of Attack on Titan, the paradise civilization managed to find peace with themselves after a big war. You might be thinking how did they do it? Well, by advancing in technology. The people of Paradise were so good at war that peace was the real challenge. They actually did a good job this time around. This all starts with a child and a dog going into a tree. It’s an odd start to what seems like an average boring ending. Yet it’s quite symbolic of how human history works. The child represents hope while the dog represents courage and loyalty. And even if peace does come, humans will always look to cause chaos in hopes of getting more power. That’s one thing that’ll never change no matter how advanced we get as people. However there is hope for us in the future, just as long as we stay true to that little kid who found joy with his pet dog inside a tree. Fans went through a tornado of emotions when watching this last episode, and it’s understandable why. People grieve for their lost comrades but also feel nostalgic because they know there won’t be another season past this point. Even though both sides are ready to rise up and debate on whether or not they liked it, it was still an unforgettable experience whether fans noticed that or not
Is AOT Anime Ending Different from the Manga?
When compared, the only difference in endings is that the paradise civilization in the manga advanced to a more modern world while the anime showcased an advanced and futuristic one. Another thing to note, in the anime they went inside of a tree but in the manga they just saw it from afar. These small creative changes don’t really impact how you feel after watching it though. A person who has no idea what happened after finishing the anime can get a better understanding by reading the manga. And when it comes to endings, Attack on Titan stayed true with very minor differences that you might not even notice if you’re not looking for them
Take on the Ending of Attack on Titan
After watching the final episode of this epic anime, we can’t help but appreciate Isayama’s genius and the ending. The finale lasted for over a decade giving us mind-blowing twists, unpredictable drama, and extraordinary battle scenes. This will definitely be an experience that we will look back on forever.
We were moved by the conclusion and appreciated how the author provided a humane touch to the story. We understand that not everyone may agree with this ending, but we personally think it gave it a fitting end in a more realistic way. It gave fans a chance to grieve and say goodbye to their favorite characters. We were left with mixed feelings; excitement because of how amazing it was and sadness that we had to say our goodbyes.
Overall, this anime was unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. And even though it’s over now, it’ll live in our hearts forever
